If you do not have a subscription to EcoSal but would like to explore its functionalities and content, you may register as a Guest. Registration will enable you to view the Table of Contents, try out Search, and take a “peek” at a small portion of the posted chapters.


Individuals

Individuals wishing to request a subscription to EcoSal should visit ASM Press at the ASM eStore for complete information regarding subscription categories and pricing. Go to http://estore.asm.org for detailed information.

  1. Once you identify your subscription category, you will proceed through the purchase steps directly on the ASM eStore. Your credit card will be processed in real time, and you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order. As soon as the transaction is complete, the EcoSal Subscription Manager will be notified of your subscription request.
  2. Access is immediate provided that you purchase the subscription by way of the eStore. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Subscription Manager.
  3. Individual EcoSal subscribers will now use ASM eStore usernames and passwords for access to EcoSal. If you do not have an ASM eStore profile at the time your subscription to EcoSal is requested, one will be created for you by the EcoSal Subscription Manager. Note: If you are a current ASM member, a profile on the ASM eStore is automatically generated for you. If you do not know your ASM eStore username and password, or if you have forgotten them, please contact ASM Press at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Institutions

Institutional customers wishing to request a subscription to EcoSal should visit ASM Press at the ASM eStore for complete information regarding institutional subscription categories and pricing. Go to http://estore.asm.org for detailed information.
There are two methods of payment for an institutional subscription (multiple-user license).


A) Credit Card Payment Option

  1. Once you have identified the appropriate subscription category for your institution, you may submit payment directly on the ASM eStore by way of a credit card. Your credit card transaction will be processed in real time. You will receive an email confirmation of your order. As soon as your transaction is complete, the EcoSal Subscription Manager will be notified of your subscription request.
  2. Access is not immediate. Your subscription may take 3 to 5 business days to activate. Prior to activation, you will be contacted by the Subscription Manager for your institution's IP addresses or referring URL information. Once this information has been obtained, your subscription will be activated and you will receive an e-mail confirmation from the Subscription Manager indicating that you have access to EcoSal.

B) Purchase Order Payment Option

  1. If you wish to initiate your institution's EcoSal subscription by way of a purchase order, you must contact ASM Press directly. You will not be able to place your order on the ASM eStore. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request an invoice for your subscription, providing the complete bill-to information, your contact information, and your purchase order number.
  2. An invoice will be generated and sent to you by fax or e-mail. Payment is required prior to activation of your subscription. Once payment is received, your subscription may take 3 to 5 business days to activate. The EcoSal Subscription Manager will contact you to obtain your institution's IP addresses or referring URL information prior to activating your subscription. Once your institutional subscription has been activated, you will receive a final e-mail confirming that you have access to EcoSal.

EcoSal Subscription Categories and Pricing Options

A) Individual Subscriptions

Offers the ability to browse the Table of Contents, view chapters, execute searches, and create a customizable “Saved Searches” page that allows you to retain your searches and “bookmarks” and make notes about saved items. Subscribers can also link to databases and references and download PDFs of archived Second Edition chapter content.


$149.00, initial one-year subscription

$149.00, one-year renewal     (This rate applies if the renewal transaction is completed more than30 days after subscription expiration.)

$69.00, discounted one-year renewal     (This rate applies if the renewal transaction is completed within 30 days of subscription expiration.)

B) Institutional Subscriptions

Offers all the features of the Individual Subscription for an entire institution*, including customizable “Saved Searches.” The subscription fee is based on the number of users as estimated by the institution:

  1. 1-10 users: US $499.00 annually
  2. 11-50 users: US $999.00 annually
  3. 51-200 users: US $1,299.00 annually
  4. Over 200 users: US $1,599.00 annually

*Institutional access is set up through an IP range or a referring URL.


Trial Subscriptions
